After the update it wont do video streaming anymore!

First the camera stops working, Now Im not allowed to sign in. The new password that was emailed to me doesnt work either. Now, its useless.

Horrible how can you update app and make it worse than it already was. App shuts down when try to stream.

Disappointed in update

I was for the most part happy with the video camera we purchased recently until this last update! The video is a bit grainy but it does the job. The feed itself is kind of wonky in that you have to wait a few seconds for it to switch to a night time mode. The audio is great except it cuts off after a certain point with this new update. I only use this app at night when the baby sleeps as a monitor so for it to cut off is a huge problem! Before the update it would stream through the night and was great! Please release another update very soon fixing this issue. I would be happy if I could roll back to the last release. I wish I had read the reviews first before updating. It also took me several times to get it to finally connect after the updates.

Great, when it works

This app/camera combo is great when it works. Ive got it mounted above the crib in babys room so you barely even notice it when youre in the room, and night vision is great. However, the most recent update has led to constant crashing for both my wife and I on 5ss. The app wont open at all. It loads for a moment, and then shuts off. I will update my review when this is fixed!

App keeps crashing, I cannot see my baby. I hope they fix it quickly.

Do not buy the monitor or use this app

Update - it crashes upon launching the app more than ever. The app and camera are awful. Do not use or purchase. This is not hyperbole - this app is awful. It crashes within seconds of attempting to access the live streaming. If Philips offers a monitor update and the app live streaming stops working, it is not worth using with the hope the product will work when you want it to. The design is good - but it simply doesnt work on the iPhone5. Avoid it and the hassles. Philips should be embarrassed that this made it through their QA process.

Generally, it is considered a best practice to not make a products less operable with an update. Keep thinking outside that box Phillips.

Unstable and unusable

The app was previously tolerable, with occasional crashes. Since updating to iOS 8 and iPhone 6, the app is essentially unusable. It consistently crashes within a minute or two of launch. This would be a big deal with any app, but when you are using it to monitor your childs safety it is no laughing matter. Philips needs to correct the problem immediately or Ill be switching products.

Needs serious improvement

I bought this as a security camera in the hopes that the motion sensor would be a great alert system for me. The problem is the motion sensor fails to work. In fact, it never works. Even the sound sensor fails to work constantly. This is nothing more than a glorified WebCam that works in a slipshod manner.

Poor

Has not worked in forever. Ive unplugged, reset, deleted and redownloaded this app and monitor, but it still wont work. When it works, its 5stars.....unfortunately thats not very often, though.

Worse than ever

When we first started using the cameras they were pretty good. Occasional crashes but still useable. After the latest updates they are now completely useless. Unplugging the camera and plugging back in works for a few minutes then the app crashes and you cannot get streaming back. Very disappointing.

Rubbish

Camera wont connect and register without the app crashing. Never bought a more unusable product. Philips never again.

Sadly disappointed

I was so excited to get this product. I am a firm believer in Philips products, and I thought this wouldnt be an exception. The idea of connecting through wifi made it seem impossible to miss any activity, weather I was outside, or on the go. Unfortunately, from the first night using it, I was hugely let down. First and foremost, the most common time I need this monitor is when I am sleeping at night, and want to be awakened should my little peanut need me, or heaven forbid suffocate in her crib. I thought the "always listening" feature meant just that, but after 6-10 minutes it goes into sleep mode and essentially stops listening.... this may be the worst feature of this device... whats the point of having a monitor..... Next, the app/device sync never seems to stick. I found myself waking every few nights to find it had come un synced, and Id have to go into the babies room for 20 minutes trying to get it to re-sync.... certainly makes for sleepness nights... Then I just became paranoid that I couldnt trust the camera, its always delayed... or cant pick up the connection, etc... What should have been a dream is a nightmare.... I ended up purchasing a motorola video monitor for about $40 less, and have been very pleased.

Complete absolute rubbish. The app crashes every time I start a live feed. I have not been able to use the camera for a long time. Never, ever again Philips.

Shutting off/crashing

New update is worse than before 2/12/2015, still unusable, so much delay!!!

Used to be great

When I first got it 3 years ago it worked awesome. The new version crashes all the time and the night vision only stay on for 10 mins. Needs to be unlimited

Update to the WOOX Innovations version

Why does Philips leave us in the dark regarding updates to this app? I recently stumbled upon the updated version 2.9 from their partner company WOOX Innovations. The update solves a lot of bugs. It looks like Philips quit supporting this app but forgot to notify its customers to switch to the new app.
